Stemmer - Rowland marriage - 1946

Mrs. Selma Rowland and John Stemmer, both of Elkader, were married at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church parsonage in Elkader on May 02. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Dalores Bahls, of Elkader, acted as bridesmaid, and Gerald V. Nesteby, also of Elkader, served as best man.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Polkow. Mr. Stemmer is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stemmer, all of Elkader. The new couple will make their home in Elkader.
