Miss Lorraine I. Hulverson, oldest daughter of Lawrence Hulverson, Volga City, became the bride of Marion W. Galbreath, Star City, Ind., in a church ceremony performed Tuesday, Jan. 08.

The Rev. J. Clifton Lee, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony at 8 p.m. in the Volga Methodist church. Mrs. C. W. Kohls furnished piano nuptial music.

They were attended by the bride's sister, Miss Gayle Hulverson, and her uncle, DeVere Wells of Elkader.

The bride, a graduate of the Volga high school in 1934, entered training in the Waves in December 1943 and received her honorable discharge several weeks ago. The groom was recently discharged from the Army.

The couple left for Star City, Ind., where they plan to live on the groom's parents' farm in the near future.
