Miss Joann Walter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Walter of Luana, became the bride of Dwane Hoth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hoth of Elkader, Tuesday, Aug. 29, at St. John's Lutheran church at Farmersburg, the Rev. R. H. Steege officiating. Mrs. Harry Long, cousin of the bride, preceded the ceremony with selections at the piano, Mrs. Elmer Shady, also a cousin of the bride, sang several selections. Miss Betty Krambeer was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Iva Dean Hoth, cousin of the groom, Miss Audrey Reardon and Miss Arlene Lenth, both friends of the couple. John Hoth, brother of the groom, served as best man, and groomsman was Wayne Walter, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Roger Huckstadt and Vernon Hoth, cousins of the couple.
