Seybert - Nydegger marriage - 1950

At St. Joseph's Catholic church in Elkader on Monday, June 26, Miss Dorothy Nydegger of Elkader, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Andreae of Volga, became the bride of Robert Seybert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seybert of Elkader. Rev. Robert J. Ferring assistant pastor, officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Harold Christeleit, of Volga. The bride's sister, Mrs. Harold Christeleit, was her attendant, while Bernard Dougherty attended the groom. At the reception the wedding cake served was baked by Keith Gordon of Monona, a cousin of the groom. Following the reception the new couple left on a week's wedding trip, after which they will be at home at Dubuque, where Mr. Seybert is associated with the Nortwestern Bell Telephone Company. Mrs. Seybert is a graduate of the Volga high school. Mr. Seybert graduated from the St. Joseph's high school here at Elkader.
