Smith - Howell marriage - 1950

SMITH, HOWELL, THIESEN

The marriage of Miss Verna Howell, daughter of Mrs. Richard Smith of Volga, and William Smith, son of F. D. Smith of Oelwein, occurred Friday at the Methodist parsonage in Volga. The Rev. Leslie J. Faris, pastor, officiated. Attendants were Miss Maxine Moore, friend of the couple, and Wallace Thiesen, brother of the bride, both of Volga.

The new couple will reside in rooms in the Richard Smith home in town. The groom will be associated in the Smith Produce here.
