Rowland - Polkow marriage - 1942

Miss Selma Polkow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Polkow of Elkader, became the bride of Pfc. Reed Rowland of San Luis Obispo, Calif., son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rowland of Garnavillo, Saturday, in the Zion's Lutheran church at Clayton Center. Rev. Flesner officiated. The bridesmaid was Ruth Rowland of Chicago, and the groom was attended by Clarence Polkow. Ushers were Robert Rowland and Willis Polkow. The new home will be made in San Obispo, Calif., after the new year.
