Schmidt - Nelson marriage - 1942

Miss Dorothy M. Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nelson, was united in marriage to William G. Schmidt, son of Mrs. W. F. Martens of Dundee, at the Redeemer Lutheran church here Friday, June 26. Rev. Luther P. Koeppke officiated. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schmidt, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

Mrs. Schmidt is a graduate of the Elkader public school and for the past eight years she has taught in the rural schools of Clayton county.

The couple will be at home in Rockford, Ill., where Mr. Schmidt has employment.
