MONONA: Miss Catherine Bernhard, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis L. Bernhard, was married to William T. Adams of New York City, Saturday, with the Rev. Harley W. Farnham officiating. The attendants were Mrs. Franklin Schuman of Danville, Ill., a schoolmate of the bride, as matron of honor, and William Owen of Osage as best man. Ushers were Franklin Schuman of Danville, Ill., and Norbert Fritz of Monona.

Mrs. Adams is a graduate of Cornell college where she was affiliated with Alethan sorority. She also attended Cedar Rapids business college. For the past two and one-half years she has been secretary in the general office of the J. C. Penney Company in New York City. Her husband is a graduate of Provo, Utah high school and the Utah State Agricultural college and Columbia University of Physicians and Surgeons.

The couple left on the Zephyr from Prairie du Chien for a honeymoon in Chicago. The new home will be made in New York until July 01, when they will go to San Diego, Calif., where he will be on the staff of the San Diego county general hospital.
