Werges - Livingston marriage - 1945

WERGES, LIVINGSTON

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Livingston of Elkader, Iowa, announce the marriage of their daughter Jeanne to Raymond Werges Jr., of McGregor, Iowa. The couple were married at the parsonage of Friedens Evangelical church Sunday, Dec. 02. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Gloria Livingston served her sister as bridesmaid, while Donald Dettman of McGregor served as best man.

The bride attended high school at Wynn Seale, Corpus Christ, Texas, and also Elkader high school. The groom attended Garnavillo High School.

At present the groom is engaged in farming on his father's farm near McGregor.

The marriage date marks the twenty-first wedding anniversary of the bride's parents.
