Sutterfield - Hyde marriage - 1945

Miss Marjonelle Hyde, R.N., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Hyde, of Elkader; and Floyd E. Sutterfield, son of Oren E. Sutterfield of Corridon, Mo., were married at St. Joseph's church here on Monday, Nov. 19. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken officiated. Miss Marie Willmes of Long Beach, Calif., and R. J. Hyde, father of the bride, attended the couple.

The bride is a graduate of Elkader high school and attended Elkader junior college for one year, following which she entered nurses training at Mercy hospital in Dubuque, graduating in June of this year. The groom attended Bunker high school at Springfield, Mo., and the State Teachers college before entering the army. He was in the service for three years, fourteen months of which were spent in Italy. He received his honorable discharge the latter part of October.

The new home will be made at St. Louis, Mo., where Mr. Sutterfield is employed with the Public Service Co. of that place.
