ELKPORT: Saturday, Sept. 30, Pfc. Hubert J. Thein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thein, and Catherine Nightengale of Littleport were married by the Rev. R. Park Anderson at the Methodist parsonage at Strawberry Point. The couple were attended by Otto Groth and Laverna Hakert, friends of the couple.

The groom will return to a camp in Mississippi oct. 14.
