Volga: Thursday, June 01, at the St. Sebald Lutheran church Miss Norma Nydegger, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Nydegger, became the bride of Harold Christeleit, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Christeleit. The Rev. H. H. Hahn, pastor, officiated. Miss Dorothy Nydegger, the bride's sister, was bridesmaid and Vernon Wirkler acted as the best man. Ushers were Orville Stannard, Jr., cousin of the groom, and Vernie Frieden of Elgin, cousin of the bride. During the service Miss Evelyn Stannard sang "I Love You Truly."
The bride graduated in 1942 from the local high school and also attended Upper Iowa University at Fayette. The past two years she taught a rural school near her home. The groom is engaged in farming his father's farm east of town, where the couple is at home.
