I'm sure there is a relationship here as my grandaunt, Eliza Ellen Farr, the older sister of John Franklin )Frank) Farr, my maternal grandfather, was married to John Elsworth Sawhill. They farmed in Madison County, Iowa for many years before retiring to New Virginia, Warren County. My mother, Mary Tina (Farr)Ames was born and raised in New Virginia.
