Elizabeth A. Ames marriage

Sometime after 05/06 Jan 1920, Elizabeth Ann Ames, resident of Osceola, Iowa, married a person thought to be named Thomas McDonald. The story is told that soon thereafter he comitted suicide. The 1925 Iowa State census enumerates Elizabeth McDonald as a widow. Would like to know anything that you can provide as to the marriage date, death date, cause of detah, where buried and McDonald's background, if available. Thnks very much
