Postmaster Records in Clarke County

My great grandfather, James William Sherman, was Postmaster of Osceola for 2 terms beginning 11 July 1885. I'd love to know how to find a copy of his appointment. I'm also looking for photos of JW. He lived in Osceola from about 1879 to 1900. He and his brother John owned the Osceola Democrat newspaper.
