Jane E. Miler appears to be Jane Elizabeth Miler, the daughter of Daniel Miler and Sarah (Halfhill) Miler. Daniel was the son of Charles and Elizabeth Miler.
Charles Miler [born 1795, Virginia] and Daniel Miler born July 10, 1817, Virginia went first to Gallia County, Ohio before migrating to Iowa. Charles is enumerated in Cheshire, Gallia County, Ohio in 1830, 1840, 1850 and then 1856, 1860, 1870 and 1880 in Clarke County, Iowa. Daniel Miler and Sarah Halfhill were married on April 16, 1835 in Gallia County and are also in Clarke County, Iowa censuses in 1856, 1860, 1870 and then in Tarkio, Missouri in 1880.
Sarah Halfhill Miler was born September 23, 1818 and died in Oklahoma in 1901. She is buried in the Bridgeford Cemetery in Watonga, Blaine County, Oklahoma. Daniel is not buried with her. He died between 1880 and 1901. One unconfirmed source says that his dates are July 10, 1817 to April 19, 1895.
