Funeral services for Mrs. Charles (Eva A.) Hajek, 82, were held at Sheets and Son Funeral Home Feb. 12 with David Burr officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Hajek died at the Tulsa, Okla. Osteopathic hospital Feb. 8.
The daughter of Ernie and Louisa A. Hobbs Rogers, she was born in London, England, Jan. 28, 1906. She was married to Charles J. Hajek in Chicago, Ill. in 1940. She lived in Tipton from 1954 to 1972 when she moved to Tulsa, Okla. She had been employed by Owens Brush in Iowa City.
She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stoney (Charlene) Marshall, Tulsa, Okla.; 2 sons, Chuck and Tom, Tipton; 7 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Bobbie) Madsen, West Branch and a brother, Alfred Rogers, Tipton. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, a brother and a grandchild.
