Mrs. C. H. (Elizabeth) Barger, 88, died in a Pasedena Nursing home Feb. 8.

The daughter of Charles and Temperance Richards Swartzlander, she was born in Tipton Nov. 19, 1899. She graduated from Tipton high school in 1917.

After her husband's death she moved to Tipton from California and later returned to California.

She is survived by a son, R. D. Barger, San Marino, Calif.; 2 grandsons and a granddaughter; a nephew, Bill Furnish and a niece, Mary Betty Huber, Tipton.
