Final rites for Mrs. Henry (Martha H.) Oldham, 82, were held at Trinity Lutheran church Feb. 13 with the Rev. Donald Sondrol officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Steven, David and Dale Oldham, Brian Morton, Robert Thumma and James Cary.
Mrs. Oldham died at Cedar Manor Feb. 9.
The daughter of Joseph and Josephine Yedlik Crofta, she was born at Solon Aug. 4, 1905. She attended Johnson county schools. She was married to Henry H. Oldham at Mechanicsville Jan. 26, 1927. A homemaker, she had lived in the Tipton area for 55 years, moving to Cedar Manor 3 years ago.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, the Virginia Grove Circle of King's Daughters and the Mt. Zion Community Workers.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Arlene) Morton, Lee's Summit, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Beverly Oldham, Tipton; 4 grandsons and a sister, Mary Mohn, Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, 4 brothers and a sister.
