Last rites for Brad M. Hubler, 26, were held at the Sheets & Son funeral home Feb. 6 with the Rev. Samuel Hahn officiating. Burial was in the Springdale cemetery. Pallbearers were Dean, Darrell and Dale Hubler, Dave Exline, Ed Buchmayer and Tim Luettjohann. Sharon Stiff was organist.

Mr. Hubler died at his home at Cedar Bluff Feb. 2. Death was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The son of Richard and Paul L. Ohrt Hubler, he was born at Iowa City June 20, 1961. He graduated from the West Branch high school in 1979. He was married to Beth Bentrott at West Branch Dec. 12, 1981. He was employed by Sheller-Globe at Iowa City.

With the exception of 2 years at Ainsworth, he spent his life in the Cedar Bluff area.

Mr. Hubler is survived by his wife, a daughter, Nicole and a son, Chad; His parents, 4 sisters, Joyce Hubler and Kendra Mendoza, Muscatine; Regina Sievers, Storm Lake and Lucinda Rocha, Tipton and 2 brothers, Gerald, Muscatine and Richard, Humbird, Wis.
