Funeral services for Agnes Bockwoldt, 88, Durant, will be held today, Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1987, at the Lacock Funeral Home in Durant, with the Rev. David Lawson officiating. Burial will be in the Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Bockwoldt died Jan. 25 at the Wilton Nursing Home.

The daughter of John and Mena Dietz Ruwe, she was born Aug. 6, 1898 in Scott county. She married Alfred Bockwoldt Dec. 24, 1919 in Davenport. The couple farmed, retiring in 1949.

Mrs. Bockwoldt was a member of the Stockton Camp of Royal Neighbors of America, the Unity Club and the Durant senior citizens.

She is survived by a son, Robert Bockwoldt, Durant; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Dolly) Lilienthal and Erna Lilienthal, both of Durant; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband May 7, 1977, 4 brothers and one sister.
