Funeral services for Juanita Motz, 64, Bennett, were held Jan. 10 at Peace Church of Christ United in Bennett, with the Rev. Don Gardella officiating. Roger Wiese was the vocalist and Pat Bargolf was the organist. Pallbearers were Craig Powers, Dennis DeCock, Daniel DeCock, Ron Paulsen, Michael Horstmann and Fred Horstmann, Jr. Burial was in Inland cemetery, Bennett.

Mrs. Motz died Jan. 8 at St. Luke's hospital in Davenport.

The daughter of Arnold and Helen McChesney Paulsen, she was born Jan. 13, 1922 in Robinsdale, Minn. She married Dwain Motz Oct. 12, 1942 in Bennett and she resided in Bennett most of her life.

Mrs. Motz was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bennett.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Linda Hauber, Grandview, Mo.; a son, Ken, Rock Island, Ill.; 2 sisters, Elaine Johnson, Eldridge and Marianne Palmer, Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Arnold Paulsen, Cedar Rapids and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
