Funeral services for Iva Belle Miller, 96, were held Jan. 8 at the United Presbyterian church in Mechanicsville, with the Rev. Jaymee Glenn-Burns officiating. Mrs. Floyd Siver was the soloist and Mrs. Calvin Robinson was the organist. Pallbearers were Keith Beck, Rick Weber, Merle Weber, Daniel Koch, Ronald Conley and Melvin Thimmes. Burial was in the Rose Hill cemetery, Mechanicsville.

Mrs. Miller died Jan. 5 at the Mechanicsville Care Center.

The daughter of Welthew and Elizabeth Schley Horn, she was born in Linn county June 10, 1890.

She married Lloyd Faurot in Lisbon Sept. 17, 1914. He died in 1918. She moved to Mechanicsville in 1920 and married Frank L. Miller in 1922. He died in 1944.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Presbyterian church, Rebekahs, Royal Neighbors and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Viola Rittmer, Cedar Rapids; many step grandchildren; 3 nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husbands, 2 sisters and 4 stepchildren.
