Funeral services for Paul Stanley Fowler, 65, Grandview, a native of Cedar county were held at Muscatine Sept. 15. Mr. Fowler died at the Bethesda Care center, Mediapolis, Sept. 11.

The son of John W. and Ethel Mae Callahan Fowler, he was born in Cedar county June 11, 1921. A former resident of Muscatine, he had lived in Grandview for 2 years. He first married Cleora Millard. She died in 1982. He then married Marie York and later Phyllis Cassidy. He was employed by Roach and Musser in Muscatine. He retired from the US Postal Service July 6 after 9 years of employment there.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Bonnie Stopes, Grandview; a brother, Ernest Fowler, Wilton; 2 sisters, Violet Amerine, Wilton and Ethel Philips, Grandview; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
