Funeral services for Edward Joslin, 64, Tipton, former Clarence resident, were held at St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence, April 7 with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Pallbearers were Everette Sander, Robert Gottschalk, Irvin Kintzel, Everett Oetting, Raymond Sanger and Henry Thies. Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch was organist.

Mr. Joslin died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, April 5.

The son of Glenn and Edith Austin Joslin, he was born at Morley March 8, 1915 and was married to Lucille Gottschalk at Stanwood June 21, 1936. He was a retired railroad worker.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille; a daughter, Mrs. James (Judy) Leeper, Clarence; 3 sons, Gary, Japan; James, Nashville, Tenn. and David, Denver, Colo.; 6 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Pauline Grey and Ruth Cooper, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Irene Seeley, Stone City and Marybelle Wenger, Elkader and 2 brothers, Leonard, Palmer, Alaska and Jay, Amber. He was preceded in death by a sister and 3 brothers.
