Last rites for Mrs. Cora M. Phillips, 87, will be held at St. Mary church at 10 a.m. today (March 22) with the Rev. George Snell officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Visitation at Sheets & Son. Pallbearers are Leonard Port, David Vance, Carl Frederick and Jim Shaffer. Mrs. Robert Marchek is organist.

Mrs. Phillips died at the Oakdale hospital March 18.

The daughter of Albert H. and Wilmina Werling Shaffer, she was born in Tipton March 9, 1892 and was married to Frank A. Phillips at Cedar Rapids Jan. 9, 1911.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, 5 brothers, 7 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
