Mrs. Ida Frances Boon, 55, mother of Mrs. H. V. Odem who lives northeast of Anita, died last Wednesday at her home in Tulare, California, death being due to blood poisoning. Besides Mrs. Odem she is survived by three other children, Mrs. Jack West of Omaha, Irvin Fillington of Lincoln, Neb., and Elbert Fillington of Tulare. Deceased by a former resident of the Bridgewater vicinity. The remains were shipped to Anita Tuesday, and were taken from here to the Massena cemetery for interment. (Anita Tribune, Nov. 16, 1933)
