Rites For Adolph I. Hagen

Adolph I. Hagen, 73, lifelong Cass County resident, died suddenly Friday morning March 6 at his home in Atlantic. Death was the result of a heart attack.

The son of Louis and Anna Anderson Hagen, he was born in Atlantic August 11, 1885, and was married to Katie J. Whitcomb at Lewis March 22, 1911.

He is survived by his wife, five sons LuDell Hagen of Des Moines, Walter and Robert Hagen of Anita, William Hagen of Atlantic and Eldon Hagen Council Bluff; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Kaminky of Anita and Sue Hagen of Omaha; a brother Bert Hager of Cumberland; a sister Lilliam Beatly of Kansas City and 26 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Florene and Janet Marie Hagen, a son Donald W, Hagen; a brother Fred Hagen and a sister Mae McPherrin.

Funeral sevices were held at the Roland Funeral Home, Atlantic, Sunday afternoon, March 8 with Rev. Donald C. Bissinger officiating. Pallbearers were Aruthur Duff, Bill Parker, Phil Lees, Cleo Burmeister, Simon Smith and Norman Laren. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Lewis, Iowa.
