Mrs. Elizabeth M. Beebe Rourick, 71, wife of Albert Rourick, Atlantic died suddenly of a heart attack Friday evening at 7:30 at the home of her son, Frank.

Elizabeth M. Beebe, was born in Aurora, Ill., Aug. 10, 1881 and married Albert Rourick at Exira Oct. 24, 1917. They formerly farmed north of Wiota and moved to Atlantic last spring when her health failed and she was hospitalized several times.

Mrs. Rourick was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Cass Co. Farm Bureau in the late 30’s and early 40’s.

Surviving beside her husband are three daughters Mrs. Pearl Mailander, Wiota, Mrs. Mary Ostrander of Comanche and Miss Dorothy Rourick of Alameda, Calif., five sons Jack and Dick of Alameda, Robert of Anchorage, Alaska; Don and Frank of Atlantic, a brother Harold Beebe of Aurora, Ill., and 23 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and several brothers.

Rosary was recited Monday evening at Rolands Funeral Home. Services were held Tuesday morning at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic.
