I just searched for Kenneth Anderson and no luck finding a birth announcement for him in the online newspapers for that area.

Doesn't necessarily mean that there wasn't one. I found a birth announcement for my brother but didn't find one for myself or for my sister. I know there was one as I have an original clipping from a newspaper in my baby book. Currently, they don't have all the historical newspapers for that area online. All three of us where born in the same hospital there.
