Connie N. Snyder, 77, of Independence, Iowa, died at her home on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Union Church, Quasqueton, Iowa with Rev. Charles Clark officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Fawcett-Schmitz Funeral Home, Winthrop and for one hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Interment: Quasqueton Cemetery, Quasqueton, Iowa.

Connie Nilene Crow was born on November 7, 1943 in Walker, Iowa, the daughter of Howard James & Isabelle Lelia (Payne) Crow. She attended the Quasqueton school and graduated from East Buchanan High School in the class of 1962. Connie also graduated from Paris Academy in Cedar Rapids. Connie was married to Raymond Snyder and they were blessed with three daughters, Tracy, Carey and Gale. Connie and Ray later divorced. Connie was an associate at Walmart in Independence for 36 years. She was a member of the former Pine Creek Mission Baptist Church and recently was active at the Hoover Wesleyan Church at rural Walker. Connie enjoyed travel, crafts, baking and making her life an adventure. Her family will remember her for her humming and infectious laughter.

Connie is survived by her 3 Daughters: Tracy St. Clair (Brian Hilbert) of Independence, Carey (Greg) White of Winthrop & Gale (Bill) Poore of Farmington, Minnesota; 9 Grandchildren: Jenny (Alex) McCaslin, Cory Haight, Taylor Teel (Mitchell Cabalka), Jenn Hansen, Adam (Andrea) White, Daniel White, Nile White, Eric Poore & Evan Poore; 6 Great Grandchildren: Caleb & Bentley McCaslin, Summit Cabalka and Landon, Henley & Rylee White; 4 Brothers: James (Janice) Crow of Marion, Larry (Diane) Crow of Sumner, David (Joyce) Crow of Waterville, Minnesota & Bill (Marilyn) Crow of Winthrop and many Nieces & Nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Ellen Patton.
