Ricky R. Howard, Sr., 70, of Hazleton, Iowa died Wednesday morning, May 26, 2021, at UnityPoint - Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 7, 2021, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa.

Visitation: 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and mask are suggested at the visitation and service.

Ricky Ray Howard was born November 24, 1950, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Ralph Issac and Doris Helen (Staley) Howard. He graduated from East High School in Waterloo. On November 28, 1981, he married Bernadine Teepe and they later divorced. He was a former member of the Maywood Wesleyan Church in Maywood. On October 22, 1994, he married Patti Allen and they later divorced. Ricky enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and twin great granddaughters.

Ricky is survived by his 4 children: Rebecca Worthy (Jamie McNamara) of Oelwein, Ricky Howard, Jr. of Hazleton, Crystal Howard of Dunkerton and Jeremy Howard of Newton; 2 stepchildren: Kandi Allen of Waterloo and Mindy Allen of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister: Diane Ager of Rockfalls, Illinois; sister-in-law: Shirley Howard of Evansdale; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers: Craig Howard, Curtis Howard and Butch Howard; sister: Vicky Sellers; and brother-in-law: Bob Ager.
