Pearl A. Bunce, 95, of Jesup, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at the Cedar Valley Hospice House, Waterloo.

She was born Sept. 2, 1910, in Oelwein, daughter of Frank Lemley and Sadie Adams Lemley. She married Merle Eldrich Bunce June 25, 1932, at Grace Methodist Church, Waterloo. He preceded her in death May 20, 1993.

She graduated from East High School in Waterloo. She also was past matron of Eastern Star.

Survived by two sons, Donald (Vernetta) of Tripoli and Dean (Delores Prochaska) of Jesup; two grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Geraldine (Jack) Hummel of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Paul and Bill Lemley; and a sister, Julia Lemley Barron Willhite.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Jesup, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation after 4 p.m. Friday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, where there will be a 7 p.m. Eastern Star service. The casket will also be open for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
