Word has been received here of the recent death of Mrs. Mona Long, of Santa Ana, Calif., former resident of Waterloo. She had lived in Waterloo for 18 years before moving to Santa Monica.

She was Mona B. Owens prior to her marriage to Dean W. Long of Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Owens was the niece of Dan J. O'Neill, who worked for the display advertising depart of the Waterloo Morning Tribune and later for the waterloo Daily Courier before moving to Santa Ana. Workd of her death was received from her brother, O. E. Owens Jr., of Long Beach, Calif.
