Funeral services for Roy E. Scanlon, 41, a former resident of Waterloo, were conducted Monday morning in Glenrock, Wyo., where Mr. Scanlon died Friday at his home, of cancer. The body will be brought to Waterloo Wednesday morning and graveside services will be at 9 a. m. Thursday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, with the Rev. Patrick McElliott, pastor of St. John's Catholic church, officiating.
Friends may call until 8:30 a. m. Thursday at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 8 p. m. Wednesday,
Mr. Scanlon was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Waterloo, the son of Edward and Pauline Roasuer Scanlon. He attended Sacred Heart school, and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; two sons, Daryl and David; his mother, Mrs. Pauline Scanion; a brother, Harold, and two sisters, Eileen, all of 224 Linden St.; and Arlette, 727 Washington St.
