WATERLOO -Ronny Joe Hemenway, 53, of 315 Vinton St., died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at home of cancer.

He was born March 23, 1946, in Aplington, son of Henry Floyd and Betty Jean Stocks Hemenway.

He married Kathleen Berger in 1968; they were later divorced. He married Janice Makowsky July 26, 1991, in Waterloo. Mr. Hemenway was a 1964 Columbus High School graduate, was in the U.S. Air Force for 13 years and served in Vietnam, and was proprietor of "Reasonable Ron's Auto Sales" in Waterloo.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Mike of Traer and Jesse of Waterloo; three daughters, Tamara and Kelly Jo, both of Muscatine, and Rachel of Waterloo; five grandchildren; four sisters, JoAnn of Minnesota, Pepper and Teresa, both of Ohio, and Gloria of Waterloo; and six brothers, Max of Kentucky, Fred of Waterloo, Henry Floyd III and Phillip, both of Ohio, Tony of Traer and Thomas of Mississippi.

Preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister.

Memorial services: 7 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Family Funeral Care. Family will receive friends for an hour before services at the funeral home.
