Edna B. Kauffman, the daughter of Nathaniel and Emma Landrum McFadden, died at the Manning Plaza in Manning, Iowa at the age of 99 years, 7 months, and 7 days.

She was baptized in Audubon in 1918 at the Redine Church of Christ. She attended rural school in Douglas Township, Audubon County, Iowa and attended high school in Audubon, Iowa. She then taught rural school for a short time.

On June 5, 1912 she was united in marriage to Homer Kauffman in Audubon. They farmed in Douglas Township, Audubon county, Iowa for six years, then moved to Shelby County and farmed near Kirkman, Iowa until 1936. They moved near Irwin and farmed there four years, then purchased their farm in Douglas Township which they operated until Homer died in 1973. She maintained her home until she became a resident of the Manning Plaza in Manning, Iowa in July of 1986. She was a member of the Redline Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death in addition to her husband was her son, Glen Kauffman, her brother and sisters: Forrest McFadden, Hazel Kauffman, and Alice McFadden.

Survivors include her children and their spouses: Gladys and Raymond Powell of Manning, IA; Clifford and Delores Kauffman of Marne, IA; Dale and Faye Kauffman of Ft. Myers, FL; Wanda Bonney of Keller, TX; her daughter-in-law, Lavone Kauffman of Lubbock, TX; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
