Glen D. Kauffman was the son of Homer and Edna McFadden Kauffman and died at his home northwest of Audubon at the age of 54 years, 3 months and 12 days.

He graduated from Audubon High School with the Class of 1944 and was a life long member of the Redline Church of Christ and served as an elder. During the Korean Conflict he served with the U.S. Army in Germany.

On April 17, 1953 he married Lavone Reuwsaat at the Baptist Church in Denison, Iowa. They farmed all of their married life in Douglas Township, Audubon County.

Preceding him in death was his father in 1973.

Survivors include his wife, Lavone of Audubon; his daughter, Karen Kauffman at home; his mother, Edna Kauffman of Manning; his sisters and brothers: Gladys, Mrs. Raymond Powell of Manning; Clifford Kauffman of Marne, Ia.; Dale Kauffman of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and Wanda Bonney of Keller, Texas; and a number of other relatives and friends.
