Exira To Have
A New Nursing
Service Soon

--------
Miss Marjorie Wilson, A
Graduate Nurse, Will
Open Hospital Here

--------

A new nursing service is to be
established in Exira within a short
time under the direction of Miss
Marjorie Wilson, who is a grad-
udate of Immanuel Lutheran Des-
conness hospital of Omaha.

Aside from a comprehensive
course of nursing in the hospital
proper, Miss Wilson has had train-
ing in Psychopathic and Pediatric
care and has recently completed a
summer course in Home Nursing
with the Visiting Nurses' Associa-
tion.

The spacious E. C. Wilson home
is being fitted for Miss Wilson's
use, and its convenient location
and large, airy rooms make it es-
pecially adaptable for the purpose
for which it is to be used.

Exira has long needed a hospi-
tal. This need was faithfully
filled by Miss Rose McNally to the
utmost of her capacity. But since
Miss McNally's recent retirement,
the town has been handicapped by
the lack of facilities in caring for
the sick. It seems especially fitt-
ing that a home girl should follow
Miss McNally's lead in nursing
service. Miss McNally, who is
lending her assistance to the pro-
ject, is aiding with initial equip-
ment.

Miss Wilson is thoroughly pre-
pared to render the community an
active, efficient, and useful ser-
vice, a service indispensable in its
nature, and it is to be hoped the
public in general will take advan-
tabe of the benefits therefrom
when in need of such care.

The editor bespeaks for Miss
Wilson, in behalf of Exira and vi-
cinity, success and good fortune
in her new undertaking.

Parents of Marjorie J. Wilson were Eugene C. "E. C." Wilson and Belle B. Lancelot. Marjorie had a twin sister, Marguerite Wilson. Marjorie was married to Albert William Bintner
