Old Settlers Audubon
Township Held Picnic

The annual picnic for old sett-
lers' of Audubon township was
held Sunday at the Bruner timber
southeast of Exira. Late in the af-
ternoon some three hundred per-
sons had registered. A picnic din-
ner was served at noon and in the
afternoon a program of music was
enjoyed.

Many old friendships were re-
newed at the picnic and a general
good time was had visiting and
discussing topics of the day.

Nels Jensen was elected presi-
dent for the coming year and will
have charge of arrangements for
next year's picnic.
