cated four miles south, two miles east and one-half mile north
of Exira and ten miles north of Anita on

Bay horse, 10 years old, weight about 1500; gray mare, 12 years old, weight

Note: John Phillip Heckman (1906-1944) was the son of German immigrant Johann Christian "Chris" Heckmann, Jr. and his wife, Anna Katharina Schwarting, whose father was a German immigrant. John died of wounds on May 15, 1944 in WWII at Anzio Beach, Italy in the war against the Germans.
