Letters From Folks
You Know

October 12, 1929.
Audubon County Journal,
Dear Sir:

am enclosing money order for $2.00
for the Journal for another year. My
time was out Jan 1st, and I am 11
months behind. But better late than
never. I am sorry I did not send this
sooner, but it seems like I just kept
putting it off. I simply could not get
along without the Journal, and I will
always continue to take it, as long as
it is printed and I have the money to
pay for my subscription. I always
look forward to Monday, as I know
I will get the Journal, and sometimes
I get it on Saturday. It is always a
welcome visitor to me as I was born
and raised in Audubon county, and Ex-
ira was my old home. I know so many
there that the Journal is a(l)most like
a letter from home to me.

Thanking you very much for send-
ing the Journal when my subscription
was past due.
