I am looking for information re: James Ewing b.1812? VA OR TN who died in Appanoose county in 1887. His wife was 1. Mathilda Stinson who died in 1852 and 2.Sabina Clemmons. He had bounty land assigned to him 3/1/1855 from John Rollins. The land is described as the SW fractional quarter fo the NW quarter of section 18 in Township 67 of Range 16 w containing 43 acres.
His home in the 1860 is Centerville which does not fit the land description.
Can anyone help?
