Hi C.D. Yes, Drusilla (listed as "Dillie" on the 1880 Appanoose Co., IA census) was born in 1866, though I don't have the exact birthdate. I'd be very interested in whatever you might have on the Gladfelters.

Your Smiths aren't, by any chance, related to Jesse & Easter Smith of Union Twp, or Noah & Elizabeth Smith, also of Union Twp? My g-grandfather, William Buck, married Laura Ann Smith, who was from one of these families, in 1854 at her brother, Harvey Smith's house just south of Moravia.

Do you live in Appanoose County? I'm very interested in any information on the county, and especially the area around Lake Rathbun, as my gg-grandfather, Jesse Buck, owned 480 acres there.
