Retired Waukon Businessman Buried On Monday

The death of Willard Cunningham occurred on Friday at the Good Samaritan Home where he had been a resident. Funeral services were held on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church with interment in Mount Olivet cemetery.

An Allamakee County resident all of his life, he was born on March 31, 1881 to Mr. and Mrs. John Cunningham. He was married at Dorchester, on January 9, 1912 to Anna Healy who passed away in 1953. He is survived by five children: Alice, Mrs. Vance Cameron, Boston, Mass.; Rita, Mrs. Paul Schneider, Cincinnati, Ohio; Helen Cunningham and Leo Cunningham, both of Waukon and Dorothy Cunningham of Des Moines; there is one sister, Mrs. Celia Ryan, Waukon and several grandchildren.
