James Warren Farley was born Oct. 13, 1919 to Claude E. and Gertrude A. Farley. He died Jan. 14, 1946 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Lt. Farley served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Fighting Squadron 17 and was MIA/KIA in the Pacific Area and awarded the Purple Heart.
