Carl Wilfred Fliermans, Jr. was born July 2, 1919 to Carl W. (Sr.) and Fannie McGaghie Fliermans. He died Sept. 2, 1944 and has a cenotaph in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Capt. Fliermans served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died in the service of his country.
