Kenneth Earl Barton was born Aug. 18, 1913 to William and Lou Clark Barton. He died Jan. 14, 1947 and is buried in LuVerne Cemetery, Luverne, IA. 

Petty Officer Barton served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Clement William “Clem” Bird was born July 25, 1918 to John J. and Mary O’Brien Bird. He died Jan. 28, 2004 and is buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.

Col. Bird served with the U.S. Air Force in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. In World War II he served with the Eighth Air Force in England with a B-17 Flying Fortress Group, one of the first U.S. bomber groups to arrive in England. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters.

James Paul Bird was born May 15, 1915 to John J. and Mary O’Brien Bird. He died Apr. 9, 1984 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.

Sgt. Bird served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Donald Elwin Boeckholt was born July 16, 1924 to Herrmann and Marie Schurr Boeckholt. He died July 8, 2012 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Arnold Peter Boever was born Mar. 9, 1917 to Frank Francis and Mary Virginia Paulus Boever. He died Dec. 31, 1974 and is buried in Saint Johns Cemetery, Bancroft, IA. 

Sgt. Boever served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
