"I believe these are some of the children of Samuel and Mary A. (Oten) Dice. Below I've copied some of my family tree.  In the 1880 census they are living in Western, Linn Co., Iowa.  Hope this helps identify them."

1. SAMUEL2 DICE (HARRY1) was born 06 Apr 1832 in Ohio, and died 26 Sep 1919 in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa. He married MARY A. OTEN 02 Feb 1854, daughter of JAMES ANTON and ELIZABETH ENOCHS. She was born 08 Aug 1830 in Galion, Ohio, and died 06 May 1913 in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa.

He married MINNIE MAY SODEN 01 Dec 1897, daughter of HENRY SODEN and MARY PARKER. She was born 22 May 1874 in Benton County, Iowa, and died 21 Apr 1949 in Shellsburg, Benton Co., Iowa.
Notes for MARTIN LUTHER DICE:
Martin went by the name of Lou. He was a farmer at Parkers Grove and on January 3, 1908, they bought Minnie's father's farm just west of Shellsburg. They later retired to Vinton, Iowa. His nickname for Minnie was " Cookie."
