     1.  Family Sheets - These are in bound books and the index will list the husband, his years, the wife, and the volume and page number on which that family sheet can be found. The volume is coded by the number and color - G = Green, B = Blue;  thus 'G 6' means the 6th volume in the green books. There are other family sheets in our file cabinet that have not yet been bound. These names can be found elsewhere on this web site.

     2. LDS Microfilms - The library has a few LDS microfilms available. The family for which you are searching may be listed and on one of those microfilms. Our Genealogical Society DOES NOT research these microfilms for people but you are welcome to search these films yourself in our library or order a copy of the film from LDS. The LDS number of the film is listed.

     3. Family Bible - Information is found primarily in the gold colored book on the genealogical shelf in the Fairfield Public Library. Occasionally the information can be found on one of the LDS microfilms. If so, that is noted.

     4. Family Books - Various families have prepared family line books and have donated copies of those books to the library. These will normally have a number of generations in them and could be a wealth of information for family researchers.

     5. Some data or documentation for a particular name may be added to this site if it is sent to the County Coordinator for inclusion to the site and if it is approved by the Coordinator. All data will be linked to the particular name.
